Hi All,

I'm new here. As the title says, I have a ring doorbell which has captured my neighbour hitting their dog in the face, this is not the first time it's caught them screaming at the dog who barks in distress. How would I go about reporting this now their is clear evidence.

Thanks in advance

The bastard. I would have confronted the person and told them what I thought. (I once did that, years ago, and the bloke almost shat himself when I bollocked him) Failing that, tell RSPCA

Will they take the dog off them and stop them having more dogs in the future? I am not entirely sure how this works as never done it before x

Send the footage to the RSPCA.
Can you remember when someone was filmed putting a cat in a wheelie bin? I believe they were fined.

Definitely report the total asshole.
RSPCA / SPCA / Local council dog warden, and keep the footage and any more you get!

I 100% would report & I would also tell the neighbour how horrible they are. Poor dog. They just get no choice who they end up with, it’s so sad.

Good for you! What a bastard.

If you believe everything you read, RSPCA wont exactly do much.

Have you read their website. “In 2019 we secured 1,432 convictions relating to animal welfare offences, which meant we achieved a 93.7% success rate from all our cases.”

Please send the footage over to the RSPCA as well as any other info so they can track that poor dog down and get it far away from that man
