To ask what can I eat that won’t kill me?

I have been so ill for the last three weeks, diagnosed with a gall stone blocking a duct in my liver. I have been in hospital for 5 days, diagnosed with hepatitis, on antibiotics and waiting for an emergency procedure to remove the stone.

I have hardly eaten as when I do, I end up in pain for hours and vomiting bile. My pee turns orangey brown and it’s just not worth it.

I last ate on Wednesday morning, a boiled egg which I thought would be bland and fat free. It really wasn’t. It was probably my worst day of pain and throwing up.
The day before I had a few spoonfuls of porridge made with fat free milk. That made me I’ll too.

What can I eat that won’t kill me? I might be waiting weeks for this procedure? Can I last that long on only water?

Sorry but there is nothing you can eat when the duct is blocked like that. The doctors can give you a prescription for Fortisjuice which will give you essential vitamins and minerals but the only cure is the operation to remove the stone from the duct. I know this because my daughter went through this earlier this year. She was on morphine for the pain for more than 4 months due to the woefully useless NHS surgeon who left her on the urgent waiting list for more than 2 years for the surgery to remove her gallbladder and she then had another 2 months wait for the correcting surgery to remove the stone which was blocking the duct which he failed to remove during the first surgery.
