I'm really not enjoying my role right now. I'm trying to pinpoint it, and whether changing companies will actually change anything for me. I worry I'll go through the upheaval to be faced with the same shit in a different company. I'm also extremely lucky that I can pick my home/work schedule completely, and sounds like this is uncommon in most other corporate offices currently.

I think in my instance it's a lack of structure, training and support and the company being very chaotic in general.

Those if you who enjoy or don't enjoy your jobs, what are the biggest challenges you have that you find stressful? I understand this will massively depend on industry, I am in a corporate office type job.

When people are slow to respond to time-critical requests for information, so I have to keep on and on asking them. Some Very Important Person way above me needs this - it's not going to go away if you just ignore it!

Being expected to meet dangerous clients alone with no means of asking for help or being checked on. I used to leave a line open with DP and hope he'd hear if I screamed.

No communication about work - clients calling up angry about work not done with no idea who they were and no means of finding out as case management system not used.

Working environment totally unpleasant.

Unemployed for now!

What is your bug bear or hate mine is that it appears today that very few people are capable of doing admin thoroughly and accurately which can cause lengthy online chats and phone calls to rectify so many errors
