You need serious amounts of wealth just to afford to live in, run and maintain some of these big properties, let alone buy them.

It would need to be a Euromillions type of win, a Premium Bonds win wouldn't be anywhere near enough. I can't imagine what the energy and utility bills would come to every month 😱

This is very outing but here goes. This house is the pair of the house that I was born in , the 2 outbuildings are the old pig sty and wash house! Sadly I can't afford to live anywhere nearby.

Oh this one is wonderful - I love modern style 1970s houses.

I like this one, it's a decent house without being ridiculously large. I also know the area where it is, and it's close to the station and easy to get to the town centre.

MonikerBing the Spitalfields house is perfect isn't it. I often spend time in Spitalfields and love Princelet Street. The early merchants houses are beautiful. It's my favourite area of London, but I also love Arnold Circus because of its history. More affordable too.

A doer upper, in a marvellous location next to the water in east Cornwall... Could easily reconfigure for multi generational/WFH, at studio or part air bnb... Dream!!

Lovely house ,but be prepared to be snowed in over winter.DB and family used to live near there and access is along a narrow single track road.The local farmer had to regularly help tow residents with their cars stuck in the snow during winter.
