Why no jail sentence for sexual assault on a 13 year old!

I am totally disgusted by the lack of a jail sentence, I'm sure if the sexual assault had been perpetrated by a man, then there would have been a jail sentence.

Her sentence was not weak because she's a woman though, in general we do not punish sexual abusers in this country. Male, female, whatever identity has been assumed, we either do not prosecute or the farce of prosecution results in a sex criminal being allowed to wander about doing what they want knowing that it's unlikely they'll ever actually have any repercussions.

And then to add insult to injustice you get all the smarmy shitheads blaming victims for not coming forward, when the victims know that if they had, nothing would have been done.

it would likely be under 3B. The aggravating factors to make it into the A side wouldn’t apply. You could argue factors for 1 (severe psychological harm) or 2 (him being so young making him more vulnerable). Regardless sexual assault isn’t taken as seriously as it should be and the sentence seems within the realms of normal vs it being light because the perpetrator was a woman.
Look at the theft ones by comparison and consider what we value most as a society

Well the comparison with the 17 year old (it was being under 25 that was the issue) is moot as his conviction has been quashed

I knew of a man 29YO with a criminal record that got 20 months in prison got released after 11 months
for having underage sex with a 14 year old.
He came out and he is now living with this now woman 8 years on with kids.

Now a homeless man from our city got 4 years for shoplifting.
He had no criminal record either.
This was at the same court in the same year.
Up roar with the local papers.
The system is messed up.
