To ask how many times per week your child goes straight home to their house after school?

Because mine hardly ever do. Once per month maybe if I have an afternoon WFH. Just wondered how common this was?

Mine come home but are then back out again three times a week at various activities plus two more on weekends… honestly it feels excessive but it seems to be the norm

Depends what you mean. Mine are primary age. There is one day where they go to an after school club until 5ish, which is inside their school hall and just games / coats / snacks.

On two other days, they are collected at school finish time, brought home to change and have snack then out to a club.

On the other two days in a week, they come home. However, there’s a cafe on the end of our street and they usually stop there for a milkshake / hot chocolate/ snack of sorts on a Friday.

So I guess once?! But DH collects them with the dog and they more often than not throw their wellies on in the doorstep and take the dog straight out with him to the park.

I could say almost
never straight home but in reality, they are always home for the vast majority of every school evening and collected 4/5 times by their parents at finish time if that makes any difference?

Never. Even if i work from home - I work. So they are in after school clubs every day.
