To not get chicken thighs?

I’m an unfussy eater, like pretty much everything but I just don’t get why so many chefs recommend using chicken thighs.

I get that breasts can dry out easily but thighs have an odd texture that doesn’t sit well with me. Surely breast is best, to borrow a phrase?

Maybe it’s a personal preference but does anyone agree?

I really dislike them. Odd really considering breast is so good!

I don't mind them but my 16 year old daughter literally gags at the texture, she can spot thigh meat in any dish!

Chicken breasts taste of nothing. And they're almost always dry.
Chicken thighs on the other hand, are delicious.

As for the Christmas turkey...It's 'let battle commence' in my family. Everyone wants thigh.

I think they have more flavour and often prefer them depending on the dish. I usually by boneless and skinless because I’m lazy and hate faff.

I DETEST chicken breasts. Least interesting bit to eat of the least interesting animal to eat. Growing up, we always had whole chickens and the breast mostly went to the dogs (I’m not British).

I’m not sure I trust anyone who prefers that nonsense to flavoursome thighs. 🧐
