Settle an argument.

DP fitted out my futility room with some twinslot shelving, and now the laundry stuff has a proper home. Then he installed a wall full of storage and shelving for my DS who is thrilled to be able to put everything away neatly, and then finally he fitted loads of adjustable shelving and hanging space in the laundry room (I have a bnb) which has transformed staying on top of everything.

I told him that his doing all this is just the loveliest sexiest most attractive marvellous thing and I would cheerfully shag him insensible simply at the thought of it.

He said that in no way can shelving or storage ever equate to sexual attraction, and that he knew I fancied him anyway.

Aibu? The supply and fit of life changing stuff is dead good isn’t it? Fwar!

I am quite competent at DIY stuff, but DP has big hands and strength and can do jobs that take me a long time in a few minutes.

Good God - shelving AND storage in one day? I feel slightly stirred when my DH just confidently strides out dragging the wheelie bins up the drive, so in the words of a relationship board poster, I think I need to raise my bar. 🤦🏻‍♀️

He does indeed have a belt. It has a sort of little bag on it and is made of leather and suede. I don’t know where he keeps it, come to think of it. But if I see it out, it means something is about to get fixed. And this pleases me.

I can't believe people are finding this unreasonable ..... shelving, storage and tool belts .... just shows you that it is possible for someone to have it all.
