AIBU for having a crush on this elderly Croatian singer? Do you find him attractive?

I know this is silly because I'm too old to have celebrity crushes, but for the past year I've had a crush on a man named Vlado Kalember. He's 70 but there's lots of videos on youtube of him from when he was younger and I think he's so cute, even as an older man now. He kind of looked like Johnny Depp when young, plus his music is fun despite the fact I can't speak Croatian. I've watched all his music videos and just think he's so sexy. I used google translate to read articles about him. I honestly don't think he's that interesting to read about based on what I've read, but for some reason I really like him still.

He was around when Croatia was still a part of Yugoslavia, and was considered one of the most eligible bachelors in the land. He was known as an eternal bachelor/womanizer who didn't settle down until his early 50s with a woman 30 years younger (he's older than her parents) and they had a baby. Now they're divorced but are apparently still best friends.

Anyway, I don't know why I'm posting this. I guess I just want opinions because I've only mentioned this to one person I know in real life and she told me to get an eye test because he's not attractive at all. Do you guys think he is/was attractive?

Dyed hair on a man is always going to make them look odd. If he had natural grey or white hair he would look so much better.

For example - James Woods who is not only a lovely man but is also still attractive to me in his older years.

I would have when he was in his 40s! He looks like an older version of John Taylor from Duran Duran.

I do think if we fancy people when they're younger we still find them attractive when they get old. I was in love with Axl Rose when I was a teen, and I still think he's really sexy as he is today.

Oh and I can see why you like this guy, he is good looking.

About a year ago, I was watching old Eurovision entries on Youtube from various countries and Vlado Kalember was featured in one of the videos representing Yugoslavia. I thought he was cute because he looked like young Johnny Depp (who I don't like now) and decided to look up more of his music. That's how I got hooked.

Hilda,I had ( and still have) to an extent a crush on a now sadly deceased Japanese singer. It was quite consuming for a time but I learned some of the Japanese language out of it and lots about the culture, past and present.
So I think it's quite educational! But I know it feels a bit strange. It's almost like a kind of nostalgia for me,wishing and dreaming for something?

My guilty pleasure is this Turkish song so I'm not judging OP. I also have a very dodgy crush on German Til Lindemann (Rammstein) although if you saw him in his prime when younger, it would seem less unreasonable.

I also enjoy Til although less so with recent allegations sadge. He's a fine looking bloke op, you carry on with your crush. I have a weakness for the more androgynous looking man, what can you do, it's harmless.

I agree with a previous poster, alright in his youth but has somehow become more Caitlyn Jenner’ish in his older age. Has happened to the guy from Aerosmith as well.
