some posters would still find a way to accuse me of being judgy, miserable, unkind etc.
I've just been on yet another thread where a poster asking a perfectly reasonable question has been piled on by other posters making absolutely ridiculous stretches and contortions in order to have a go at the OP and make them feel bad.

It's getting a bit tiresome on here. These posters seem to flock together on every second thread, ruining them and dragging them off topic.

I agree. I've noticed this too.

I could choose to disagree for ridiculous reasons but that would also reinforce your point.

Why the drip feed OP? You haven't told us the time of year, or the general grass health, or what specific kind of grass you are talking about. This is all vital information. What a sweeping statement.

paintityellow · 23/09/2023 15:14

Well yes, it is a bit of a generalisation I suppose. I mean there's a brown patch on my lawn from the recent sun. So I suppose technically all grass isn't green......

YABVU. You have no idea what is going on in the life of the grass.

Sigmama · 23/09/2023 15:25

But is it greener?

Callyem · 23/09/2023 15:26

And who says the grass wants to be green anyway? Also, you're making assumptions as to the grass's identity.

autienotnaughty · 23/09/2023 15:27

You are being ridiculous. Grass is not green. It's never been green and if you think it's green you need to LTG

HangingByYourFingernails · 23/09/2023 15:27

It's this kind of ignorance about the effects of climate change that makes me despair of the world we live in.
