My week is really low effort because work has been mental. Ideas from last few weeks:

Side of salmon roasted in foil with a few slices of lemon knob of butter served with tenderstem Broccoli new potatoes and Carrots

Griddled rump Steak, pepper sauce, those slices of floured potato you get from lidl done in air fryer, tenderstem Broccoli and green beans

Gnocchi mushrooms tomatoes Parmasan (I actually put cauliflower and tenderstem with this too!)

Lamb leg steaks fried and served with with veg

Tonight was baked potatoes cheese and coselaw

Shop bought pizza the night I got stuck at work and dh ignored my food put in the fridge

Omelette

Breaded pork from lidl (prefer to bread my own but busy!)baked potatoes cheese

Stir fry kale with anchovies garlic and chilli oil and I chop in other green veg like sugar snaps or Broccoli boil up spaghetti then add in olives and capers then mix. It's my own version of puttanesca

Prawn salad

Halloumi (one block between 4 of us fried) crispy spicy chickpeas done in air fryer using nandos per peri salt, cous couse, roasted red peppers tomatoes and red onions and cauliflower which I did spicy and non spicy versions of for ds, oh and I crumbled some feta on it for cheese fest. Plus some rocket and balsamic vinegar and olives as a side salad. This was lush.

Typical meals for us:

Chicken katsu curry
BBQ chicken drumsticks, rice, corn on the cob
Veggie or chicken tacos/fajitas/burritos
Chicken satay with noodles
Baked Salmon with roasted vegetables
Homemade burgers with potato wedges
Spanish tortilla with chorizo and salad
Lemon Chicken and potato traybake
Chicken or beef kebabs with rice and salad
An Indian or Thai curry recipe
Risotto

I usually try a new recipe every week or two. Something from a magazine or BBC Good Food website usually.

Add hake to your fish buying @SM4713 . It's nicer than cod or haddock and often a little cheaper.

Ahh yes, completely forgot about hake, thank you. I made the most amazing fish and chips with a whole one I bought from Billinsgate last year. Delicious.

Thank you everyone so much for this it's been a huge help

As you can guess I'm up to edit my shopping basket quickly

Ok ok ok it's a coincidence and two of my three children woke at 6 and one got into my spot in bed when I went to the toilet 🤣

I’ve enjoyed it too @ontheup23 , so 🙏.

It has made me a) want to buy lamb which I don’t buy anymore and b) decide to give going to the butcher’s or Booths a go to choose my own meat again.

Weird 😂.
