I know I'm not being unreasonable....

So the overnight temperatures have dropped and for the first time in absolute months I allowed for the central heating to give a quick burst of heat last night once we had settled down to watch TV.

I am, however, refusing to have the heating on in the morning where we simply get up, grab some breakfast, a shower then out for the day. But........ I do appreciate that the mornings have been quite a lot cooler and you notice it more when your having a shower and then trying to get dry. I don't believe that I am being unreasonable at all.

I am interested to find out, however, what solutions people have for heating their bathrooms without having to heat the entire house. I am aware of these small electric bathroom wall fans but past experience of these is that they aren't very good. Does anyone have a great way of heating their bathrooms without heating the entire house and how good are they really?

Turn off the radiators in the rest of the house and just put the bathroom one on?

Just turn the other radiators off but keep the bathroom one on.

My radiators are timed to come on an hour before I get up. Just the bedroom and bathroom. Also helps with mold. Rest of the house is freezing. Then in the evening we have an oil heater in the living room when we are relaxing but only put it on if it's really cold as we have lots of big soft sofa blankets.

Thanks for the couple of suggestions around this - it is one way to deal with the issue but seems a dreadful faff when you then have to keep going around turning radiators on in the evening and off in the morning. It certainly helps as an immediate solution, so thank you, but would prefer to find an easier long term solution with localised heating to the bathroom.

Get WiFi controlled thermostats for the radiators then you can set them up with schedules.
