Bedbugs

I saw a bedbug in our bed the other night and I’ve seen more signs around my babies cot. I’ve been looking religiously and I have just seen like orange shell casing things. I’ll upload the picture one of the one on our bed and then other pictures and if the casing. Is it time to call someone in now? Husband is in denial and doesn’t want to spend all that money!

Call a professional in straight away, the longer it’s left they grow in numbers and will be more expensive to treat

Also they will be on your clothes, don’t go to anyone’s house or have anyone in to visit you as they will spread between houses

Call a professional, there are other bed bug threads. They’ll get into clothes, carpets, tiny nooks and crannies, they can go up to a year without feeding, they lay loads of eggs.

This happened to my friend when she lived abroad. She tried all sorts of over the counter treatment and her landlord refused help. What helped her to stay on top of them and eventually eradicate them was a hand held steam gun. She went over EVERYTHING. Mattress ticking, the surfaces etc. Bedframes, skirting, door frames, Furniture joins/seams. Apparently once you have eradicated them from your mattresses and bed frames you can cover the feet of the future in bailing or sticky back plastic to block them from climbing again. You will also need to boil wash bedding/clothing etc and if you down the steam route do it at least every 48 hours and don't rush it.

Personally
