Wouldn't bother me, wouldn't do it myself because I'd be worried about catching something, but I don't think I'd really even notice if someone else did it tbh.

Attention seeking.

Blondebutnotlegally · 19/09/2023 20:16

I guess the generalised assumption is women have to cover up their bodies to remain "dignified" whilst men's changing rooms are notoriously free and people dont tend to complain. So although it might not be internalised misogyny on an individual level, a statistical level would likely prove otherwise.

Plus the notion that female genitalia is nasty and wet and germ ridden. It's the same women franctically hiding tampons in case anyone thinks they might have a (disgusting) period.

i don't think it matter she was naked. doesn't matter if it was a man or woman, just bare genitalia on a public seat is unhygienic

Sweaty balls are just as manky

Blondebutnotlegally · 19/09/2023 20:26

I think the misogyny comment was directed towards the posters complaining about women being naked gasp in a women's changing room

Blondebutnotlegally · 19/09/2023 20:27

Not a period!!!! Bring back stoning I say

Grim. I don't sit bare arsed in my own house let alone where it is a shared space.

What? You never sit naked on your bed after a shower?

Onceuponaheartache · 19/09/2023 20:35

Genuinely I stopped my membership to thegymgroup in our town after a woman was stood butt naked in the changing room, foot on the bench changing a tampon.

I have never been so digusted in my life.

Maybe thats because men have lower standards.

Chunkyspunkymunkey · 19/09/2023 20:52

I would sit bare arsed on a bench- God knows what you might catch!

FFS when did people decide to start changing sanitary items in public view? And why?

No I sit on a towel

usernother · 19/09/2023 21:08

@maddening No I sit on a towel

Why? Presumably your arse is clean if you've just washed it.

Goodness knows, appreciate it may be unusual but that is just me 😅 not hurting anyone else I guess

Sigmama · 19/09/2023 21:20

I don't even like thongs

LuciaPillson · 20/09/2023 06:04

It may be misogyny not to want to sit in a festering puddle of a stranger's vag fluids (surely not, though) and perhaps changing room benches are fair game, but honestly, if your neighbour came round naked and planted her minge down on your sofa, wouldn't you slightly be wondering about her hygiene standards in general and whether it was a good idea to eat the "tapioca surprise" that she'd so generously baked for you? Smiling and nodding along with her whilst frantically searching for "upholstery steam cleaning" on your phone. Anyhoo, I'd be spraying down the bench with Lysol at the very least and perhaps setting it on fire, heck I say take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I may be odd though as I always wear a full hazmat suit to the gym and carry a flamethrower, I may BU but I approach my personal comfort zone as a military operation. This is neither the time nor the place to discuss my emotional support ostrich but let's just say people leave me the hell alone.
