To ask for treatment?

About 18 months ago I was diagnosed with an under-active thyroid and given the starter dose of levothyroxine. Since then I've continued to have exhaustion, lethargy, weakness and dizziness. 15 months ago a blood test showed my iron and B12 was low. I also now have itchy skin all over my body and am covered in scabs and recently athletes foot that nothing seems to clear up (not sure if these are relevant.) My thyroid function has improved but still a bit low or borderline.

I am now stuck in a cycle where I have a blood test, then when I speak to the GP afterwards they want to repeat the bloods ad infinitum. I feel so unwell, I can't work, I'm struggling to keep on top of the house and have 2 DC to look after as a single parent. Every time I need a blood test I have to wait 3-4 weeks or double that if my appointment gets cancelled. So here we are after 15 months. I've just snapped and replied to the message asking me to have more bloods to say I don't want to keep having bloods, I want some treatment. I've been taking B12 tablets and drinking Floradix and obviously taking my levothyroxine. AIBU to ask the GP to treat me rather than just order another blood test? I honestly don't know how much more of this I can take.

I'd ask for a referral to an endocrinologist as your gp hasn't been able to manage your condition

You can also see a private GP for around £40 to £60 and they can refer you.

The thing is the GP hasn't increased my levothyroxine so they've not really tried to manage it, let alone the B12 or iron.
