Isn't the whole point of click and collect to speed things up?

Chose click and collect for my shopping for the first time. Cost me £1.50 for the convenience. Checked in as on my way and arrived. Got to the bay. He asked me my name and came back with my shopping 35 mins later. Could've just done the shop in that time. Minor issue but wondering if that's the norm? Not sure whether to give it another go as it's really handy as a lone parent!

You say it's cheaper, is your time not worth factoring in?

I use Tesco and they bring my shopping out now when they see me pulling up🤣🤣

I have used Asda a few times and the one closest to me has one of those systems where you are sent a code, you type it on a keypad in the click and collect area, then you are given the numbers of different lockers, which automatically open and you lift out your shopping. All the frozen stuff in a freezer locker, chilled stuff in a fridge locker etc. Works really well.

But no, you most definitely shouldn't have to wait that long.

Haven't used click and collect for grocery shopping but I've opted for click and collect in store for other items to save p&p. That too is also a joke! You have to confirm arrival via the email, (which I normally do before I get out of my car), and wait at the collection point for your parcel - which can take up to half an hour!

Yes, this is also Asda 😡
