To stop organising?

Me and two friends decided to do a weekend away later in the years. I’ve spent hours at this point, looking at different locations, finding flights, reasonable and good location hotels.

Everyone said they still wanted to go, I’ve messaged ideas, they both say they will look too and then don’t bother. Now everything I’ve found is gone and I feel deflated.

I do want to go away but it’s too much effort especially when they can’t be bothered to look themselves.

Yes, stop. I recently did and a get together that someone else in the group originally suggested didn't happen because I didn't pick up the pieces like I usually do - and every else expects me to. I've withdrawn a bit, not initiated things, and left them to it. Made me a bit sad but also realised it's unfair to be the only one chivvying everyone along.

That’s exactly how I feel, I feel like crying right now tbh… I’m always the one to organise and I never get a thank you. For that group I’m organising this weekend away and then our Christmas meal and I just think fuck it.
