I've got 3 weeks of AL to use up before EDD and if I don't use it I'll lose it. Can't carry over more than a week (37.5 hr) as it's over the statutory provision of 5.6 weeks (210 hours) by quite some way.
I'd rather carry it over personally but seeing as I can't I'm just wondering if anyone working in the nhs has been asked to produce a birth certificate/ let employer know DOB?
If so I'll use it earlier (which will muck up my clinical work so isn't ideal!) so I don't lose it in case mat leave has to start early..
