Posting here for traffic as I've had no luck on the mum threads

My baby has just decided he hates bottles won't take them and it's getting worse I have to dream feed him all day. But loves his solids he is 7 months. Last night he slept from half 8 till 6am and he's not interested in milk I'm starting to worry.
But he ate his porridge like a champ
I'm so confused and I'm so worried he's gonna get not well or start loosing weight ect

My DD gave up milk at 8 months. I mixed it into solids as much as I could (porridge/breakfast/things like mashed potato, cheese sauce etc). Also multivitamin. My HV wasn't too bothered about it if that helps.

It's such a pain I'm stressing so much. Did you just up the solids do breakfast lunch and dinner with the vitamin?

My 2 were the same. I did managed to keep them on 2 small bottles- one first thing and one at bedtime until about 10 months but anything during the day was point blank refused. My first saw a paediatrician regularly as we lived in the US at the time who said it was fine so long as taking vitamin drops, eating a balanced diet including plenty of dairy from food and drinking enough water to stay hydrated.

Have you tried milk in a sippy cup or even an open cup?

But if he is eating lots, just make sure he has lots of yogurt, cheese etc and add milk to porridge etc. Offer water with every meal.

We weaned much earlier when mine were babies, and it was very common for them to eating a full diet and be off milk by this age. Maybe check with your HV for peace of mind he's getting all the nutrients he needs, but if he's sleeping that well he's clearly not hungry.

Yeah he's sleeping well and he's absolutely fine in himself
