Keep forgetting what I was going to do, scared

I'm 32 and I feel that my memory isn't what it used to be, which frightens me as surely I'm still too young for that?
I keep meaning to look up something online then a minute later I'll find myself forgetting what I was going to look up. This happens a couple of times a day.
I find I can't remember surnames, or names of actors from shows.
Sometimes, my partner will say, do you remember when we did xyz/saw xyz and I won't remember.
No issues other than that, but it's starting to scare me.
I am under a lot of financial stress atm (as many of us are) so not sure if it's causing some sort of brain fog?
I've recently started taking magnesium (don't ask which one) as it's supposed to improve brain function.
Is this just a normal part of getting older?
I feel really anxious.

I find that my partner has an incredibly sharp memory and remembers absolutely everything, or maybe his just seems a lot better compared to mine?

I try to keep my brain active by learning languages, crosswords, maths etc. I don't drink or smoke and I've never taken drugs.

Have you always been a bit like this?

I'm very forgetful. Recently diagnosed adhd. It's worth looking up the symptoms of how it presents in women, see if anything resonates.

Not that I can recall, no (oh the irony)
I have considered the possibility of ADHD in the past, so I will take a look again. Thanks for your answer.

I work in a dementia service. The youngest person diagnosed there was late 50s. Most tend to be a lot older.
We do occasionally see younger people but there's usually other factors involved, usually stress. Sometimes when you are very busy and stressed it affects your concentration. Trying to juggle too many things at once, lack of sleep etc can affect your memory.
Also certain deficiencies could contribute.
I would definitely advise seeing your GP to discuss your concerns and have some blood tests.

See your gp if you're concerned.

After a family bereavement I went to the hairdresser some weeks later and was telling my stylist about everything, I blathered on for about half an hour, stylist didn't get word in. Then she told me that I told her all this a month before, two days after the death. At that time, I'd kept my appointment despite my upset so I would look neat for funeral.

But I'd completely erased the whole three hours from my head. I realised when my stylist pointed it out, but don't remember it.

It freaked me out so much that I Googled it. Turns out that memory loss and forgetfulness are a side effect of extreme stress and anxiety.
