Posting for traffic with apologies.
I've just ordered an item on line and sent it.
Had the order confirmation back via email and realised that the autofill was obviously enabled on my computer and consequently my National Insurance number has been sent with the order.
To make matters worse, it was in the address section so appears in the box that lists where the order is to be posted to - meaning the world and his wife will be privy to this info on the address label!
What, if anything, should I do now?

Sounds like you are thinking an NI number is as important as the American SSN.

Have you had any Gmail issues lately?

Stop 😂😂

Personal details sold on the black market or wherever are sold in bulk. Scammers will buy/sell thousands of sets of details at a time from compromised databases. Its not like eBay where someone thinks "Oooh, I found details for someone called @Wingedharpy, I'll see who's interested in buying them" and then your lonely little details go to highest bidder. If you've been specially targeted for your details then you might get rinsed, but that isn't what happened here. Nothing will happen by you accidentally putting your NiNo on a parcel label. My Evri delivery man can't organise himself enought to deliver parcels on the day they promise, he's certainly not to to cloning someone's identity. 🤣
