Genuinely interested. Am I being a prude?

Pic attached. These posters were the back of the toilet doors at the service station. I don't think kids need to be seeing this kind of stuff - is this not inappropriate?!

The friends I was with seemed to think it was ok, so maybe I am overreacting?

I think you're being a bit sensitive - it's a photo of a hand and a pot. Not graphic!

If you need a little extra help you need to
know where to buy it. No different than the advert for erectile dysfunction I saw on itv at 9:30 this morning - except that ad ends with the couple rushing upstairs and then his hands on her arse!

My children wouldn’t have much interest in looking at that or much of a clue what that ad was for or about until they were old enough for it not to be an issue for them to see it. It’s not graphic, it doesn’t have any rude words or dodgy pictures, it’s not even very descriptive or interesting. It’s not something I’d draw their attention to, but I wouldn’t think too much about it. I’ve seen graphic photography in adverts for eg animal abuse charities on the back of toilet doors I’d be much less keen for my kids to see.

Seems like I am overreacting! Thanks for your thoughts!

I'd be interested to know if the claim for the product would stand up to Advertising Standards scrutiny.

I only ever seem to see the ones asking you to buy a 'period kit' for women in war torn countries.

I should think if you said it was a 'moisturising cream' that would be boring enough to dismiss curiosity (and that's probably all it actually does).

Thanks all!
