To ask if your longer cycle affected TTC

My cycles are 32-37 days long and vary in between this amount

Last 4 cycles have been 37, 33, 32, 36.
I’m worried about the variance (does a few days difference each cycle matter?)

I’m getting signs of ovulation around day 15-17 but that means a very long luteal phase. Soon to ttc #1 and mid 20s so age shouldn’t be an issue. Please can I be nosey and ask did a longer cycle mean it took longer to conceive or can it be normal? Thank you

Up to 7 days is normal and a long luteal phase is much better than a short one for TTC. Assuming there's nothing else suggesting a problem I'd try not to worry and give it a go. I found that knowing your cycle is really helpful so you might want to look at Fertility Awareness/temping and using ovulation prediction kits, although you might find this is too full on to start with.

Come over to the conception boards where you can find lots of support.

My cycle is 35-6 days and we were lucky enough to conceive first time both times. But I was ovulating around day 21 - could your timing possibly be out?

My cycles have always been 32 - 35 days long. I conceived first try with both of my babies. I was 29 with my first, I'm 33 and currently pregnant with my second.

We just had sex every other day for the whole month. I found the idea of tracking ovulation made it all much less sexy 😆.
