Effect of bad snack choices

DH tends to snack badly and I am wondering about the effect of this on his health in general.

He only really has 1 decent meal i.e. protein, carb, veg etc per day i.e. his tea with the family.

He skips breakfast daily, snacks on sausage rolls, pork pies, crisps etc. Maybe a sandwich at lunch. Family tea, so decent. I make sure it has lots of protein. Then he snacks on chocolate or sweets in the evening.

Drinks are mostly coffee, some energy drinks and maybe a glass of water here and there.

Could be worse, but will not be good on a long-term basis. The biggest risk sounds like the amount of saturated fat and salt he could be eating, plus lack of wider nutrients in fruit and veg. If he has many sweets and energy drinks then the sugar could be an issue too. Is he overweight or with health issues?

Does he have the kind of job where its difficult to eat healthy? I can imagine if he's on the road a lot for instance that this makes it a bit of a challenge.

Doesn't sound that bad

Not overweight or health issues..

He works in a factory but can eat on his break so not a driving job.

Maybe I'm nagging too much 😁

It's a poor diet and he really ought to cut back the high fat snacking.

I don't think you're nagging by being concerned, but as an adult he really ought to take responsibility for his own health and diet.

Does he get his cholesterol level checked regularly and his blood pressure? They are the 2 things I would worry about with his diet.
