Aibu to not know where to buy clothes for a curvy tween

Just that. DD has developed early. Size C bra and 5'6 already at 11. So size of a woman but wants to wear kids clothes that are not focussing on her new found shape.

All we can find are teen/twenty year old revealing figure hugging stuff or mumsy stuff.

Which shops do we need to look at oh wise mumsnet? Best we've found so far is new look and superdry but need a few more options.

She does actually like m&s because you are right in between all the old stuff there are some good things like the jeans and shorts.

Dd is 12 and shops at Hollister, New Look, H&M, Zara, Shein, ASOS. Adult xs or s or size 10. She has also taken to raiding my wardrobe and shoes 😂

I have three tall children and when tweens we found Next was best for sizing. Especially uniforms. Otherwise I also recommend Primark.
The hardest shopping ever was 6ft+ whip thin 13 yr old boy 😩

DD went through a phase of liking Qwertee tshirts - watch out for shipping it can add up.

DD largely moved from Next teens to Next women's, the basics like jeans/ tshirts etc are largely the same just with the VAT added on. We've got the additional issue that she is very, very tall which makes it hard to find school uniform trousers etc as she is in the the tall range.

At the end of Primary and beginning of secondary she went through a very baggy phase, largely because twats made comments about her body and made her self conscious. At 13 she's now into a grungy 90s style, cargo trousers are in and basically looks like me at her age.

Next is quite good because they go up to age 16. You’d probably have to get it online rather in the shop though

Next kids clothes in ages 14 and above are equivalent to adult sizes 10-12 (there's a size guide somewhere on the site that says which size it's equivalent to) so you could try there.

Sainsburys tu clothes are decent quality and lots of styles, I just bought vest tops that are long enough to cover even portly bellies. Primark is a good trip out as also cheap

Fatface have a lovely playsuit in size 13 that fits my tall 11 year old (£18). Boden goes up to 13-14 and occasionally 15-16; we are also looking at adult short dresses that come up fitting quite well, eg Calvin Klein (on ebay) for a summery trapeze dress, American size 4.

We went to an M and S outlet and she tried on various basics and came away with shorts and a vest body in size 10/12. Marks also do clothes up to size 16.

John Lewis do crop top bras into the mid teen sizes too.

Wow, isn't it confusing!

My similarly shaped (though slightly older) dd is into sports brands... Adidas, reebok, Nike etc. Expensive yes, but sometimes better quality. Can often pick up overstocks etc on ebay. Womens sizing there makes no difference to shape etc (other than cost!).

Abercrombie Kids go up to age 16 and Hollister size small would be worth looking at.
