The weather is definitely unusual in a lot of places at the moment.
Last week it snowed in Johannesburg, South Africa. This may not seem anything odd to many, but it is odd. We don't get snow as the norm. The real feel with wind chill recorded the temp at minus 9!
You may recall the dreadful drought that hit Cape Town and the surrounds a few years ago. No drought now, now there is flooding to deal with.
We blamed El Nino for the awful floods for the past few years. Parts of KwaZulu Natal had been completely washed away. I'm talking about blocks of flats and many (brick) houses on hills, just washed away.
Did Europe also suffer with that heat wave like the UK did last year?
