Not sure where you are (I’m south coast) but it was relentlessly boiling for ages last month, I had a job to keep my plants alive.
There’s now been a couple of days of rain. It’s not cold.

Why do so many people enjoy this crap weather....we have months and months of cold, wind and rain in this country. I'd like a proper summer. Its absolutely vile here in London right now.... chilly and raining. Can't hang my Landry outside.

I'm really fed up that when the temp goes over 25degrees, we are told that it is extreme and unusual. Its not. Its summer. We've always had summer.

The weather is definitely unusual in a lot of places at the moment.

Last week it snowed in Johannesburg, South Africa. This may not seem anything odd to many, but it is odd. We don't get snow as the norm. The real feel with wind chill recorded the temp at minus 9!

You may recall the dreadful drought that hit Cape Town and the surrounds a few years ago. No drought now, now there is flooding to deal with.

We blamed El Nino for the awful floods for the past few years. Parts of KwaZulu Natal had been completely washed away. I'm talking about blocks of flats and many (brick) houses on hills, just washed away.

Did Europe also suffer with that heat wave like the UK did last year?
