See above threads for full details. Left my ex for good in February this year (verbal and emotional abuse and coercive control), we have a shared care arrangement for DD who is nearly 20 months old now.
He's acting like everything's hunky dory and wants us to be friends despite everything he's put me through. He's told me numerous times that I need to get it out of my head that he was controlling me and that women's aid and my mum have put this idea that it was control into my head.

I don't think he fully realises what he's done, despite me having evidence (numerous missed/blocked calls, a threatening shouty voicemail from when I left previously, texts saying he won't let me have our DD an extra afternoon every 2 weeks because I work full time and only get 1 full day a week with her etc).

AIBU to actually report him to the police and have him formally charged for the abuse (past and ongoing)?

You can report but if you live in England you can't have him charged its up.to the CPS,to determine wether there in enough evidence to charge and what to charge with

Thanks...should've said, I'm in Scotland. I was given advice by my Women's Aid support worker that I can report it to the police who could then formally charge him.
This would involve gathering all the evidence I have (witness statements, texts, voicemails etc) and having a chat with a specially trained domestic abuse officer who would take my statement and take it from there.

Of course you should. Why on earth should he get away with it?

And going forwards it should be make life easier for you.
