To think that cutting your grass at 9.15pm is out of order?

Next door neighbour has just started doing their lawn and it’s 9.15pm. We have a 2 year old who is trying to sleep on the back of the house. Neighbour is well aware we have a small child. I just feel that this time of night is unreasonable when they’ve been at home all day as they’ve been sat in their garden!

It's as annoying to some as 9am is annoying to others. I'm personally totally fine with 9pm

How big is the lawn - won't take long

Too late to start noisy work. It could just about be excused for continuing work that was started earlier. But really the lawn can wait.

Up till 11 is permitted here, what are your local rules

I'll swap your neighbours for ours
They've been blasting out Bryan Adams since half past 4 this afternoon-its still going on
I don't know what's worse-bryan Adams at full blast, her howling along to it or your neighbour
Both are out of order

Sorry but this really made me laugh! I used to live next door to this nightmare of a neighbour who used to play castle on the hill by Ed Sheeran on repeat very loudly and it drove me insane!

Oh come on. It's summer. Days are longer. Your child disturbs them too. Live and let live

This reminds me of our neighbours but one,who hold a Glasto party every year. They cheer and whoop until gone 11:30pm. We joined in with them cheering from our bedroom windows this time and reassured the kiddos ( 10+ 13) that it would soon cease and perhaps they wouldn't appreciate us getting them back for the disruption to bedtime ay 5am( but it was a plan!) Just one of those lifes experiences!!

Bloody hell, I felt bad mowing ours the other evening when the rain stopped long enough to mow at 7pm! It was genuinely the first time I'd had to do it in about 10 days. I was aware our NDN's have a baby so didn't do the front of the house knowing their baby's bedroom is at the front too.

My neighour likes mowing in the dark. 10pm ish? She hoovers at midnight. Her back garden is full of crap that she likes to drag about over the concrete patio making scraping noises at any time from about 6am to midnight. And now she's put not 1 but 2 sets of wind chimes up. She's a horror.
I don't think we're perfect either though I have a shouty gaming teen and between us we play various annoying musical instruments.
Although the wind chimes might just tip me over the edge.
