To be worried that I'm pregnant (birth control)

Posting here for traffic. I'll preface this by saying that I do tend to suffer with anxiety anyway so don't know if I'm overthinking the situation.
I recently started on Cerelle (about 3 weeks ago). However, I had had unprotected sex around a week before. He didn't cum or anything so I thought it was fine.
Fast forward to last weekend (2 weeks after starting pill) I noticed I was feeling pretty nauseous off and on and having food aversions and very light bleeding. So I took a pregnancy test, it was negative but it was a crappy Poundland one so I don't know if I trust it.
The nausea is still continuing, I've been feeling a bit tired (but that's typical for me anyway) and I started bleeding again Thursday. I had missed a pill on Wednesday but taking it consistently since Thursday. The bleeding is a little heavier (but still light) and more red. Im also cramping.
I know it's likely from skipping a pill but I can't go and get a better pregnancy test till Monday and im a bit worried.
Sorry if this is confusing, but does it sound likely that I could be pregnant despite the negative cheap test?

Hormonal birth control can cause nausea and food aversions whilst you get used to it. So it's impossible to say if it's likely or not. I'd expect it's unlikely, but you could have ovulated (in theory) at any point up to literally taking the first pill (even the day of). And whilst he didn't finish, it doesn't mean he didn't release anything. So it's always possible.

You'd be anywhere from 5.5 - 6 weeks pregnant (ish) if you were pregnant so I'd recommend getting another test and checking.

Chances are based on the timing the cheap test would have picked up a pregnancy. But by now basically any test should. You can order from Amazon prime or similar if you can't get out to get one. Best way to avoid the guessing game.

I would maybr re assess your BC method though as it's very important you remember to take your pill and that you understand how it works. You might prefer the ring or patch maybe? That way there's less risk of forgetting.
