Not know what to do about non transferable tickets

Hi! In the midst of my son being incredibly unwell with a diagnosis of crohns last year I booked a well know music festival for us to attend as a family, shortly.

Ive just had a disc replacement surgery (not the best year for us) and seen the tickets are non transferable. How do I navigate this? How do people sell them? Do I claim on insurance? It’s a bell tent for 6-8 people and 6 tickets. How to proceed here without losing early bird 2k that this cost to book? Would hate for them to be wasted but can’t understand how to navigate. Thanks for help

Which festival is it? Some have agreements with reselling platforms.

Latitude?
Contact them ??
Its really annoying they say non transferable because no one checks, i have never been asked for ID.
do you have insurance? That is a lot of money and worry on you.
Ask organisers and insurance for advice.
I hope things improve soon.

You might be able to sell them through their Ticketmaster exchange if the organisers permit it. I can't see anything on Twickets or Ticketswap but that might be because there are still tickets available to buy from the organisers themselves. (I'm presuming you mean Bestival in Dorset not Shropshire)
