To sort of wish I wasn’t having a baby this time of year?

I joked back in November that I bet we’d be successful this month because it’s the worst time of the year for us and lo and behold I got a positive pregnancy test. Due a week Friday, basically when schools break up for the summer, and I’m a teacher. Hot and uncomfortable and sweaty!

Don’t get me wrong I AM glad I’m having a baby, I know it’s a luxury to pick and choose the month you have your baby in but for me personally july was the worst month and here we are!

Another July baby here (should have been august) and she's going to be 4 next week!

Having a small baby this time of year i loved it! The light nights were better for my mood, the nights were shorter when she was up ever hour or so.
We could go out and get fresh air most days rather than being in the house when it's dark, cold and rainy!

My teacher friend ttc for a September baby for the reason you have said. But for me after ttc for 2.5 years, failed IVFs etc I was just happy to be pregnant!
