Report drug dealers

i reported a local drug dealer to my local councillor who said he would speak to the police. Now I am anxious I may be called as a witness if anything were to happen. Please advise

Absolutely not. They'd need a reason to open your records. Same in NHS, police, social services, prisons, probation etc

Don't worry, both the councillor and the police know the rules regarding data protection as they are forbidden from disclosing your name and other personal details by default gdpr legislation is as tight as a ducks rear end so the waste of organs of a d.ealer wil be dealt with.

I did a report on drug dealing for the police and they just ignored it. HTH.
