To worry turkey won't be hot in October?

Looking to take a break in the oct half term, obviously it would be very end of October/beginning of November. I've looked at Gran Canaria and Lanzarote as I was told they would be hot but the prices are extortionate! Have found some good deals for turkey but there is really mixed info online about weather. We would be looking at Dalaman or Antalya, has anyone been at that time of year and can shed some light on the weather?

Thanks everyone. The other place we were looking at was Fuerteventura, has anyone been there in the half term?

Not in the half term but it’s a completely different sort of place to Turkey. Depending on where you stay there isn’t much to do outside of the resort and the sea is often choppy and it can be very windy. Depends what sort of holiday you want!

We've been to both Greece and Turkey in October and both were lovely and warm but not hot hot IYSWIM.

@Beneficialchampion2 I already explained why in my OP. Maybe read it next time.

Weve been late October and it was mid 20s, perfect for us with the kids. Sometimes needed a cardy in the evenings. Was very quiet too, often had the beach to ourselves and the water was nice and warm

Ending of Oct going towards Nov you definitely need to stay in Antalya/Belek/lara beach area for warmer weather OP.

I'm not sure I would risk the very end of October this year's weather has been rocky including Turkey in April it rained for 1 of my colleagues I went 7th May and got lucky.. for 9 nights. However not long after we got home it was raining. Weather is a risk all the time so if the deal was cheap.. go for it.

Much prefer fuerteventura and it was hot in oct half term and warm in feb last year

I don’t know your budget but you would be guaranteed better weather in canaries
Fuerteventura is cheaper than Lanzarote which is in itself normally cheaper than Tenerife

I would still look for a heated pool though
