To ask if anyone else gets a spot like this on their tongue (photo attached)

I get one spot on the tip of my tongue maybe 2 - 3 times a year. It isn't painful but does nip a bit, and I just can leave it alone. I'm always rubbing it against my teeth.
It is driving me INSANE. They generally last about a week and then disappear. And when I say a spot, it isn't actually filled with anything Blush It's more like a bump in the skin.
I always thought I got them when my sugar intake was too high, but I'm on a diet this time so that definitely doesn't fit.
Does anyone else get them? And how do you get rid?
Thanks.

It's just a tongue ulcer. Very very common.

I I get these all the time. Normally when I'm run down/ stresses. Try some bonjela, anbesol or igloo. X

Should say it's a mouth ulcer! Nothing to worry about x

I get them too, viciously painful little bastards! Think they’re quite normal though, mine do go away in a day or two.

They are just awful. Think I'll go and out some ice on it.

Tongue ulcer. Often caused by lack of iron or if you are run down. Up your iron intake and make sure you are getting enough vitamins / minerals / healthy eating and sleep.

Yes I get them l. Very often when run down. Igloo gel helps stop me rubbing and biting.

B vitamins and folic acid are good for oral health. X

I get these all the time, like constantly, had no idea they were due to being run down, makes total sense though.. I do pop them as thought they were just trapped saliva, so guessing I shouldn’t be doing that!

Mine seems to be hollow, like a ring of skin.

Never heard of igloo gel. Thanks everyone. What you're saying makes sense, as I'm definitely not sleeping enough. And recently finished school for the summer holidays (Scotland), so possibly am a bit run down.
