Advice from Londoners needed on picking up taxi from London Stadium after concert.

Hi, posting here for traffic.

Attending the Weeknd concert tomorrow at Stratford and want to pre-book either a black cab or Uber to get us back to Victoria coach station by midnight.

There are some road closures in place so I was going to use the Stratford International as pick-up location but presume it will be heaving with other concert-goers.

Is there a better place to meet?

Does anyone have experience of pre-booking without any problems?

I'm allowing 45 minutes to get across London - is that enough?

Not really bothered by cost just want reassurance that it can be done.

Trains get less frequent late at night. I would leave before the end, get the Elizabeth line to Bond Street or the central line to Marble Arch, and get a prebooked cab or Uber from there to Victoria bus station.

I'd suggest you leave before the last song. I know it's annoying to have to do it but it will get you on that train a lot quicker than if you wait until the end.

I'm there too tomorrow night but we're travelling by car. 🙂

Blackwall tunnel is closed and traffic in east London is total gridlock FYI.

Loved the concert! Hope you got home ok OP.

I actually decided to drive and parked in Westfield, which was all very convenient until it took us an hour to exit the car park.
