I've been reading the thread about having a wage that would shock people, and seen a few responses from mums who work from home around their kids and earn a fair bit - I am desperately curious to know what you do!
With the CoL I'm trying to think of ways to bring some extra money in, and would love some inspiration from real parents doing it.

Really depends on the age. Age 10+ are quite happy to left to play in their devices for a bit. When I tried working from home a few years ago during Covid lockdown it was nearly impossible and so stressful. Office kind of role involving writing documents, some meetings and phone calls.

Careful you will get people on here telling you under no circumstances must you work from home with your children around. It totally depends on the job I guess if you’re freelance tutoring/running laidback classes you could do it, crafts business, nails or hair etc would also probably be doable, virtual assistant or admin assistant that kind of thing. Depends on your skills

I have work from home people on my team at work, and those who have kids running around are next to useless.

People needs to remember work time isn’t parent time; put the kids in nursery and focus on your job.
Those with repeatedly poor performance are being brought back to the office next month (thankfully)

I WFH sometimes when the kids are here but they're 10 and 13 so reasonably self sufficient. I'm a buyer and do quite a lot of meetings, presentations and analysis type of stuff. If I've got something particularly important happening I'll make sure they're at Grandma's.

I work from home and have children. I'm a therapist.
The children were home throughout lockdown and got used to knowing when I needed silence to work. They actually did so well really, they were only 6 and 8 at the time. I do try to plan client hours so that I get evenings and weekends and a couple of weekdays free though so there's loads of family time factored in.
I love what I do, it's not an extremely huge earner but it's enough.

When mine were small, childminding. Not massively lucrative, as obviously my own children impacted the numbers I could care for, but it did at least mean I was paid a bit for being at home with my kids - and they got a good deal as while I was working I was focused on providing enriching play opportunities and far more crafty stuff than I would have planned and prepped just for my own children. I did work term time only so they got plenty of time without other children around too

I work from home in an account management role, so while it is theoretically 9-5.30 it really doesn't matter when I work as long as the job is done and the figures are good. Most of my wider team including my boss have children at home so we have a lot of flexibility around school events etc.
DS is 11 so pretty self sufficient but we have children as young as three at-home at times in the team.
How easy it is to wfh with kids depends on both the job role and the company culture.
