A woman of 31 with undiagnosed borderline personality disorder, that has made her life soooo difficult but has managed to overcome it?

Are there any dragons in it?

There's a market for misery-lit but it def needs a heavy hitter - childhood abuse, severe adult abuse or violence etc.

It's probably better to write it into a fiction book so you can add some elements that have broader appeal - so a romance where her condition is an issue, a thriller where something happens and she's the "unreliable" witness or possible suspect, a horror where her condition makes her experience unreliable and no one believes her until its too late etc.

Unfortunately there's too much living misery in the world for average "life's tough but I got there" stuff unless it is exceptionally written prose

No, sorry. I get enough of that kind of thing on here. I wouldn't read a book about it.

I'm going to need to read Elinor Oliphant again. I enjoyed it, but don't remember much if it. That's all on me and my memory (or lack of) no reflection on the book. It's the first book I've bought as a gift for a friend after reading it, I hope I didn't make a real gaff there, but my friend said she thought it was good.

This always helps!

Did you end up marrying a prince?

I don't think I'd read the memoirs of any 31 year old, even one who has done remarkable things. However, the narrative of a 31 year old dealing with undiagnosed BPD and having a positive outcome could make a good strand for a novel.
