Posting for traffic. Skin burn with hot tea

Spilled got tea on my lap. Pouring cold water over legs but there’s a patch that’s skinned. Do I need a n e?

No. Just keep putting cold water on it

You need to hold it under running tepid water for at least 10 minutes. Get in the shower.

But after that I don’t think you’ll need A&E, it’s not a huge patch.

I was reading about patches of scarring. Thanks. Shower only gives hot water. Never got round to fixing it.

That's pretty minor - just run cold tap water over it for a while.

My 10yo did the same, but on her tummy, cooled it with water etc and it didn't look too bad so didn't take her. It then began to blister the next day and turned a horrid dark red colour so I took her and got a massive telling off for not taking her when it first happened so I would go yes
