To think the estate agent should update the photographs

A house was placed on the market a few years ago but it didn’t sell. The EA have reposted the house using exactly the same pictures as the earlier advert however a new building (think very large double storey supermarket) is being constructed 50 metres behind the house. The picture shows trees and the skyline however the house is now in the shadow of a massive building.
slightly dishonest of EA. Plus any buyer would be disappointed when viewing the house because the photos are completely unrealistic.

If you go on street view does it all become clear?
After looking at the pictures, that’s the next thing I look at tbh.

Are you a disappointed prospective buyer or the owner? I can’t figure out why you would care if not.

Tha Estate Agent act for the seller and not the buyer. Most likely the seller does not want to pay for new photos or the seller has asked the Estate Agent not to put up the New Pictures.

Maybe it's got tenants in. The house next door to me is for sale with old photos because the people renting it out won't leave so definitely won't let estate agents take photos.

Probably. An empty new build house near us has been on the market for 2 years and they've never updated the photos.
The daft thing is that when it was featured on the local press FB page everyone pointed out that they'd kept an old shonky fence that did it no favours and why didn't they replace it. The fence is still there.
