Eiffel Tower access

I'm looking at tickets for the Eiffel Tower as I'm visiting Paris soon, I can't figure out if it's accessible to the 2nd floor and summit by lift.
I have mobility problems and there's no way I can do the stairs but it's confusing the hell out of me, has anyone been that can advise
Thanks

To clarify - you can get the the top without having to use stairs but they don't allow wheelchairs on the final ascent from 2 to the top.

So there is a lift to all floors including the very top summit?

Yes there is.

You'll likely be standing in a queue for a long time though, of course.

I’m sure my mother went in a lift upto the top. Dad would never make it up that high with stairs.

Consider Montparnasse Tower as an alternative if you want views of Paris.

It's 10 years old but there's some detailed information here

Yes there are lifts from the ground to floor 2 (everyone gets out). Then a 2nd much smaller lift to the very top - and this is the one that can't be used by wheelchairs. (And its yet another queue).

The West pillar lift appears to be for wheelchair users (each leg has a lift but not all lifts are in use every day).

Agree that Tour Montparnasse has brilliant views of Paris, especially as they include the Eiffel Tower!

Lift to floor two then change to a different lift to the summit.

Thankyou

Be wary if you struggle with stairs. The official site says this.

Please note
The top and stair access are not accessible to people with reduced mobility or crutches, exclusively for security reasons, specifically in the event of an evacuation. We invite our clients for whom this is the case to opt for lift-access tickets to the second floor.

Name99 · 07/06/2023 15:41

I think I'll stick to the 2nd floor then

Any other attractions that are suitable for limited mobility ( not a wheelchair user)
Just rubbish legs

You can go up the Arc de Triomphe and I'm pretty sure it has a lift, that's a fun alternative.

Thankyou

Ds returned from Paris this morning, they couldn't go up the tower as there was a national strike so not much is open. They have had to cut their holiday short as some of the trains aren't running & they couldn't get one to Brussels where they were staying next. They will be claiming on their insurance for the 3 days holiday they have lost.
