School keep sending me free school meals vouchers for the school holidays

But we've not, and never have been, entitled to FSM!

I have emailed them to tell them the mistake, I spoke to class teacher and reception. This was last year. They are still sending them!

How on earth has this mistske come about, surely you have to provide evidence to claim FSM, not just tick a box (in which a mistake could easily be made)? And why haven't school amended their system? Am I actually going to get into some sort of trouble for claiming something I'm not entitled to, despite the fact its the schools mistake?

OK, I would just email the school office and say you are not FSM or PP and they will sort it out

If he's got an EHCP then he will be seen as a vulnerable child. So your income won't come into it. My brother was told they apply for them anyway. They don't have to spend the money on FSM term time. It's extra funding for the child.

I was going to say my friends child had an ehcp and gets free meals due to this

And they have a good income

She just downloads the voucher (as some said he's been paid so May as we'll be used)

And she uses it and donates to the food bank with stuff she buys

I have also been receiving FSM vouchers for my son and never applied for them (and have never qualified for fsm)
At the beginning I ignored the emails to claim the voucher (edenred) but kept being contacted by the council asking why I wasn't using them. I told them that I thought it was a mistake and they checked and confirmed I do not qualify but my son's name will remain on the list until March 2025 as per government guidelines, so to keep using the vouchers.
Its a ridiculous system
