Why are a and d not in the mix of the This Morning drama?

FGS Schfield hasn’t murdered anyone, he had an affair, nothing to see here. The total melodrama played out on TM is ridiculous but to claim A&D need to be involved somehow is batshit. AFAIK they have never worked on Holly and Phil shows or vice versa behind being a guest.

Do people REALLY get wound up about this drivel? I was confused when Holly said “I hope you’re ok” To her audience this morning. Why wouldn’t they be - it’s nothing to do with them and if you’re Not Ok because some random celeb had an affair then might I suggest getting some therapy.

He may have 'had an affair'. Or he may have groomed a child.
Plenty of people will be triggered by the potential grooming aspect.

The whole thing will rage on longer the more people defend him, that's a big part of the reason why people get so wound up and it strengthens their view further.

Your view is strengthened by how wound up the other side get, but you're on the side that wants it to stop!!

I agree with this completely people are blowing this all out of proportion he hasn’t done anything seriously wrong all the man did was have an affair with someone younger than him. I don’t get why all the drama over something that is done everyday by millions of people. He had an affair with a younger man big whoop he’s not shot anyone and I really don’t understand what Ant and Dec have to do with the price of fish.

A lot of this and stuff like Loose Women as well is faux camaraderie for the cameras

Alison and Dermot now have a surer footing on the show than Holly they are not likely to squander it

Exactly that was all he did I think because of what happened with his brother and now this everyone is just out for his blood for absolutely no reason and it’s not fair to him or the fella that he had the affair with. I mean he couldn’t even be left alone to tell his poor mum that he was no longer doing this morning the paparazzi had to involved in that as well. I feel really sorry for him. I could understand all the drama if he had done something seriously wrong but all this over an affair that probably would’ve been brushed under the carpet had it been a woman because it was a fella that seems to make it the worst thing in the world it’s sad really what people are doing to him over nothing.

It's not for no reason. Many people believe that he's a predator.
The grooming rumour had been going around for a long time before anyone heard anything about his brother, then Phil disowns the brother when he got found guilty even though Phil knew about it....then he quit and admitted to an 'affair'.

Many people do not believe his story.
It's nothing to do with whether it was a man or a woman.
It's to do with the age of the person involved.

I don't think the police just get 'involved' unless the man involved makes an allegation.

The only reason I respond is because of all the 'all he did was have an affair' posts.

Also do you not have a problem with him not reporting his brother? Or is that ok too?

even though he had already told the police that his brother HAD in fact confessed that he had committed crimes and he did nothing to help the victim?
