To go to urgent care with a dental infection?

I know it isn't the right place but i genuinely don't know what else to do. I've been trying since thur to see a dentist. 111 haven't been able to help. Have genuinely tried 20+ dentists at this point. Can book a private one but it's £90 just for the appointment with the treatment on top and it's more than i have in my bank account at the moment. Had to max my credit card recently due to a problem with my car exhaust and I can't get another.

I'm starting to feel properly ill and desperate and i just don't know what else to do.

When I had an abcess my dentist told me to show up and be prepared to wait for a slot. After three hours in the waiting room they had a no-show and called me through. Maybe see if your dentist will do that?

Apologies, just read the thread properly and see you don't have one currently. Maybe another local dentist will let you do this instead?

It's just a disgrace that NHS dentists aren't available. I've had to go privately - my dentist closed up throughout Covid and apparently I'll be called when there's space on his list. They told me that about 18 months ago.

It's a failed root canal anyway and right at the back so all I want is antibiotics and it out!

Tried 111 again tonight with no luck so I'm giving in, will book in with the private dentist tomorrow. My sister has offered to pay on her credit card which I'll pay back.
