Easyjet - can you book a sole flight for a 13 year old?

My brother has offered to take my daughter on holiday with them this summer. They have booked their flights already but have space in their villa. I need to book her a flight on the same flight as them but the app and website won't seem to let me do it as they have a policy of no unaccompanied children under 16. She won't be unaccompanied as will be flying with bro's family. Has anyone managed to book a sole flight for a teen how did you do it, I can't even seem to access the live chat it just seems to connect me to a bot with pre-written answers....

Can your brother add her to his booking? Not sure if that's an option?

Can't your brother add her to his booking?

DrMarciaFieldstone · 02/06/2023 16:45

I think you need to find a number to ring them on so they can book her a seat and link it to their existing booking. That’s how it used to work anyway.

Not sure but their number is 0330 551 5151.

Your brother will have to add her to their booking, rather than booking her separately

I don't know about easy jet but with Ryanair you would book the child as an adult and then contact the Ryanair chat line and get the booking attached to the adults booking and then change the child to an adult. Then all the bookings appear together.
I've done this in the past. Again that's what you'd do with Ryanair

Thanks my brother tried managing his booking and it wouldn't let him add them online, I think we are going to have to ring them. The only thing is they go on about how flights are more expensive if you book them via the call centre as they are a digital airline...guess have to hope that it isn't only a matter of a few quid

In addition to the comments above, your daughter should carry a letter signed by both parents saying that they are content for her to go and provide contact numbers and details of home address.
