I just want to clarify first that I have pulled my eye down in this picture but cropped it, my eye isn't naturally like this.

I drink too much- this I know to be the case. I went through a LOT and used alcohol as a crutch- I know this know. I am cutting down and I had a blood test done 3 months ago in which my liver results were slightly high but only just over average and doctor wasn't concerned. However, I have had a really hard time the last month and fell back into drinking too much (not spirits, 'just' wine) and I pulled my eyelid down today and it seems to be yellow. I am scared shitless that it is jaundice which is a late stage symptom (I believe) of liver disease. I did have slight eye irritation a few days ago and woke up a few times with this eye being gunky but it cleared up yesterday. Other eye is fine, a little blood shot but I'm not getting enough sleep so I put it down to that. I showed someone and they said I'm overreacting so Aibu to assume jaundice? Thank you in advance for your opinion.

Your eye looks fine.
I have known people with jaundice and their whole eye was yellow... their skin too. They looked like they were an extra in The Simpsons.

Jaundice often shows up in the whites of the eyes first, but its really noticeable. You could try to book a GP appointment first thing tomorrow, or you can ask a pharmacist if your eyes look yellow, if you live near a pharmacy. Or you could go to a walk in centre and ask the triage nurse, again if you live near one.
