AIBU to ask for your help to spoil bf's surprise?

Hi, first world problem I need help with please.
Bf is taking me away and has a two day 'surprise' for me, in Cholet, France.
He says I 'll love it, but that I ll be on my feet all day.
Last surprise he did for me was a disaster. I had to guess what to wear and it was super awkward and freezing, and lasted hours.

Do any AIBU sleuths know of a two day event next weekend in Cholet? I'll feign surprise as necessary. I just can't end up wearing high heels and a girlie dress at a freezing muddy rock concert again 😂

It will be le puy du fou, staying in Cholet. It's absolutely amazing. You'll love it.

If it's le puy du fou, you'll be ok. It'd be like him telling you you are off to Stoke on Trent and then taking you to Alton Towers. Cholet is not very interesting, but it's nicer than Stoke on Trent. I really want to know now!

Hi all, thanks for the tips.

He has said I need to be casual..
He said it is day AND evening, for TWO days.

I checked out the Puy de fou and it looks awesome..

He is a very lovely Bf tbh. Very busy coaching different sports teams, but generous and attentive usually.

Tell him you also have a surprise for him and then when it's time to leave just go out for the day without telling him. Problem solved.

Remind him that the last surprise was a disaster, so you're not going unless he tells you what you'll be doing.

Surely it's not that hard to ask him what to pack and wear , remind him of last time?

All my dh wears are jeans and either a tshirt or a shirt. If i asked him what i needed to wear im convinced he would answer with something incredibly unhelpful like ‘just normal’, because for him there is only one outfit…

It was the Puy de Fou and I have just had the best day! 27 degrees of magical, unusual, theatrical magic. Viking ships appearing from underwater, chariot shows

And the helpful advice meant I was totes relaxed because you lot told me what it could be.

You have the app which auto-translates.
But the historical spectacles don't really need it.
To the cinescenie show is on, invoking 1200 extras and 800 horses, fireworks et al. It's an extraordinary event all round
