To start watching friends at 31?

So surprisingly, as a 90s baby I have never watched friends! But people seem utterly obsessed and I have read lots of story plots that have intrigued me. Should I start the whole series now?! Will I be hooked or is it over hyped because of nostalgia?!

Pile of overrated shit. Don’t bother.

I liked it at the time, but I agree it hasn't aged well. They use the word retard a lot.

Anyway, I did laugh mostly, but I agree that frasier was excellent!!! It hasn't aged badly. The humour is still spot on. It's about egos and relationships. Timeless!

Never watched a full episode and I’m a 90s baby, too! I’ve tried watching it but I find it about as funny as a hole in the head. American comedy is shite to be honest. I really don’t understand the hype.

Watched Friends in real time, as it were, in the 90s. My teens love it. Yes, some of it hasn’t aged well but if you can stick with it, the fashion is fun, the supporting cast are great(Gunther, Janice, all the parents). And no one does guest stars like Friends: Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller, Reece Witherspoon, Tom Selleck, Helen Hunt, George Clooney, Elle McPherson, Robin Williams…All huge stars at the time. Do give it a go.
I also highly recommend Frasier.
