To see Elton John by myself?

I have the chance to see Elton John’s final tour, but only if I go on my own. Will I still enjoy myself do you think?

We went to earlier shows at the O2. There's a good atmosphere. You'll make some friends. And he's the consummate showman. You won't regret it.

One tip: definitely dress up. You need some multi coloured sparkles or some big glasses.

Definitely go and enjoy yourself.

I'm off to Radio 1's Big Weekend on Saturday by myself. I've done gigs alone before but this is going to be my biggest ever solo event and I can't wait. I can just roam and do what I want without having to think of what other people want to do.

It's easier to sneak through crowds on your own too as it looks like you're trying to get to be next to friends (obviously if you have a seated gig then that doesn't matter though).

Yeah go on your own . No one will know or care . I've gone to concerts , cinema snd had a meal on my own .

I've been to a concert by myself and really enjoyed it.

I would. My 16 year old daughter loves him and she’s going with her friend. Her reasoning for saving and paying lots of money to see him was that she probably won’t get chance again. If you’re a fan, you might regret it if you don’t!

We went and saw him a few years ago, tickets cost a bomb and honestly it was awful. I think he was in a foul mood, kept shouting at stage hands and the atmosphere never really lifted. An awful lot of people were leaving early to get out of the car park like we did.

DH threatened me with divorce if I ever get another ticket!

Me and dh often pick up single tickets if we have missed the launch of someone we really want to see.

I saw him at the 02 last month and it was fantastic!

Definitely go. I went to see Duran Duran by myself recently in the 02 arena and it was amazing. I also saw them a couple of weeks later with friends in Glasgow and honestly each concert was just as enjoyable in a different way.

Go! I went on my own. The atmosphere is so fantastic and I was sharing it with the people next to me all night.

I saw Fleetwood Mac on my own. You make friends with people around you. You'll have the best time.

I was at the Glasgow show on my own too.
In fact I can't remember the last time I was with someone in there and I go a fair bit.

Ooh, fab! I'd do this but especially seated. I'd feel a bit awkward standing on my own, but then a standing ticket is not what I'd buy anyway.
