To think there is no need for a taxi driver to honk his horn

to alert his passengers that he's outside their house, in this day and age?

5 (five!) honks outside my bedroom window for the neighbours at 7.15 this morning when I'd set my alarm for a 9am lie-in! FFS! This will literally blight my entire day 🤬. The walk from the drivers seat to their doorbell cannot be more than 10 steps either.

He shouldn’t be lazy and honk his horn, but at 7.15 on a weekday you can expect noise.

Most of them have an app which tells you they're outside, what colour they're wearing and what aftershave the driver is wearing.

When I am King I will ban all vehicles from having horns. Better to take action than hoot in an emergency and most of the time they are just used to express irritation!
