To move out and let the spiders have the house

I've just had to deal with my worst nightmare. I was stood at the bedroom window watching the DC play at the park with DH when I noticed a tiny orange spider on the window, then another, then about another 50! I think they've obviously hatched somewhere near the window frame and have crawled inside. Once I started noticing them I could see them everywhere...on the window, window sill, on the curtains!

I have got rid of all the ones I could see and have cleaned the whole area to within an inch of its life. I also came across a huge spider hiding where the smaller ones were coming from, after much screaming and throwing things at it I also managed to get rid of that one. However things took a turn for the worse as I then saw another big one but it ran in to a crack in the window frame before I could get to it.

So now the house belongs to the spiders

Burn the house down. It’s the only way.

Oh noooo.....don't know what I'd do.

My thought are with you.

RIP op..

The spiders own all the houses so there's no point moving out.

I haven't seen any since... I'm pretty sure they are hiding and planning their next move...

They have fled to the bedroom to hide under the covers.

Reading that made my head tingle, and I'm v spider friendly! Reminds me of the time i was on the phone to my mum, i noticed a spider and thought I'd take it outside once i got off the phone. By the time i got off the phone i realised that part of what i thought was the spider was actually the egg sack and they'd hatched. It was hard trying to catch then all before they'd dispersed. In the downstairs loo this recently happened. The ceiling is too high to reach without a ladder and they little tykes had dispersed before i got back. I'm hoping all my house spiders eat the plant gnat larvae.

They also own gardens. Last summer there was a huge spider who used to shake its fists at me when I had the temerity to approach it.

I once saw a mahoosive spider and immediately got some filler in.. in a hole in the ceiling. Didn't ever see it before. Sorry Mr Spider
